Padel on Ibiza is no longer just social. On the island and on Formentera there is an official league, organised by the Balearic federation FPIB. You play in teams, across different levels and categories, from beginners to advanced, with separate rankings for veterans and youth. For many players it is the natural next step after a while of casual games.
Yet almost everyone gets stuck at the same point: the first step is unclear. You need a federation licence, you sign up as a team, and the information is scattered and mostly in Spanish. We guide you through it, so you can focus on the only thing that matters: getting better and winning.
Here is how it works in short. To take part you need a valid federation licence and you register with a complete team. Sign-up runs per season through the FPIB, with a deposit per team. Make sure everyone in your team has a licence and that you are on time, because the spots and groups fill up fast.
