At Ibiza Padel Academy you do not get an anonymous lesson on a random court. You get a coach, and that coach has a name, a club and a way of working of their own. Now that the summer crowds are thinning out and the courts are playable at every hour of the day again, this is the moment to pick one. So let us introduce them properly: the nine coaches currently teaching through our platform. Nine is a snapshot, by the way, because we have a good number more in the process of joining us over the coming months.
The first thing you notice when you line our coaches up side by side is how far their experience ranges, and how well that works out. Oscar Not has been on court for 37 years now and Jaime Yohn for 20. Below them sits a group that has been teaching full time for years, from Sergi Llinàs with 12 years and Andy Marí with 10, to Adri Mouga and Diego Delgado with 7 and Jaimie Nauwelaerts and Kilian Lopez with 6. And then there is Jonny Vieira, two years in and for exactly that reason still able to remember how starting out feels.
Between them they teach in four languages. Spanish and English are available on nearly every court, and with Jaimie Nauwelaerts you can also work in Dutch or French. That sounds like a detail until you have had to absorb a technical correction in your second language. An explanation in your own language easily saves you half a lesson.
What they are good at differs too. Andy Marí and Jonny Vieira are strong with beginners, Adri Mouga works on match play and tactics, Jaime Yohn and Oscar Not are at their best with advanced players sharpening their technique, and Sergi Llinàs, Kilian Lopez and Diego Delgado run a group session as easily as a training for a fixed pair. They are also spread across the island, which is exactly why we do this as a platform. Ibiza has 17 clubs with 76 courts between them, and our coaches teach at The Bubble Club in Sant Antoni, Can Padel, Sirenis Vital Spa in Playa d’en Bossa, Club Marina in Santa Eulària and Punto d’Oro Siux in Es Canar. And that coverage is about to get considerably better. We are in ongoing conversation with coaches all over the island, and everyone who joins gets their own profile on the platform, with the languages, the specialities, the clubs and the availability that come with them. We deliberately take our time over it, because we only connect coaches we would happily train with ourselves. The result is that the offer in each region grows with the demand, and that you will soon have to drive even less far for the right lesson.
Arranging a lesson after that is simple, because you do not have to find a court or call a coach. We do that. Our standard rate is all in and per hour, court included: €75 if you play on your own, €85 for two, €95 for three and €105 for four. You request your lesson with your level, your preferred time and where you are staying, and we take care of the rest.
You will not only run into our coaches during a lesson, by the way. They are on court at the Early Birds, our morning sessions from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 10:00 at Club de Campo for €20 per person, and they are around on our tournament days.
