The Ibiza summer is heading into its final weeks and at Ibiza Padel Academy we are already looking a season ahead. The dates for the 2027 Ibiza Padel Weekender are online, and there are seven of them: the weekends of 17 and 24 April and of 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 May. If you want to bring a group or your regular partner to the island next spring, you can claim a place on our padel trips from today.
Choosing spring over high summer is deliberate. April and May are the months when Ibiza is just waking up: pleasantly warm without the August heat, quiet roads, courts you can book at any hour of the day and restaurants that have only just reopened without needing a fortnight of notice. For a trip built around playing padel four days in a row, that is simply the best climate of the year.
The Weekender itself runs for five days, Thursday to Monday, with roughly eight hours of padel spread through it. We keep the group small, a maximum of fourteen players, because a trip with thirty people becomes something quite different from one where everybody knows each other by name at the end. Every level is welcome, since we match players on court rather than on paper.
The programme works like this. You arrive on Thursday, your Ibiza Padel shirt is ready for you, and a transfer takes you to the club for a two-hour session with one of our coaches so you are moving straight away. Friday morning you play a two-hour Early Birds session, King of the Court with your fellow travellers. Saturday is the day everything builds towards: our own IPA mini-tournament from 10:00 to 14:00, real matches and the tension that comes with them. Sunday is completely free and on Monday you fly home.
The price covers everything you need on the island: four nights with breakfast, your welcome shirt, the training, the Early Birds session, the mini-tournament, all transfers between hotel and club, and our availability throughout your stay. Flights, city tax and the lunches and dinners outside the programme you arrange yourself. That keeps the price honest and tells you exactly where you stand.
New this season is that you pick your own hotel, from six addresses we have all seen for ourselves. In Santa Eulària on the greener east coast sit the Leonardo Royal, the boutique Nativo Hotel and the grand luxe Aguas de Ibiza on the promenade. On the sunset side in Sant Antoni you have the adults only THB Naeco and design hotel Bonito Ibiza, and in the bay of Talamanca, a walk from Ibiza town, the OD Talamanca. The trip starts from 745 euros per person at the Leonardo Royal and rises towards the five star addresses.
You book with a 50 percent deposit, paid securely online, which locks in your place. The remainder is due two months before departure. Up to four months before departure you can cancel free of charge and your deposit is returned in full. We reserve the courts, the hotel rooms and the coaches on those same terms, so those dates are not small print but exactly why a group of fourteen can always play.
Padel with us does not happen on a single court. Our coaches teach at clubs across the island, from Sant Antoni to Es Canar, and whichever hotel you choose, there is always a court nearby. If you would rather have something other than a weekend, there is good news. We are working on the Padel is Life Weekender, built around the biggest tournament of our year, and on the Early Birds Midweek from Monday to Thursday, where you play with the locals every morning. Both for spring 2027.
