On Saturday 21 November Club de Campo once again spends a whole day on Padel is Life. From 12:00 to 21:00 we play the next edition of our own tournament at Ibiza Padel Indoor, with room for more than a hundred players, food throughout the day, music and an official tournament shirt for everyone taking part.
Anyone who knows Padel is Life knows it is more than a tournament. It is the day the island’s padel community comes together in one place: the regular faces from the Early Birds, players who have only been on court for a few months, people flying in for the weekend and club members from the other side of the island. On 30 May more than a hundred players filled the courts, and in November we simply want to bring that feeling back.
The format is tried and tested. We start with a group stage, so you are sure of several matches against different pairs. After that the tournament moves into knock-out rounds, where it gets exciting for those who keep up the pace. Your matches are spread across the afternoon and evening, with plenty of time in between to eat, catch up and watch the other courts.
Everyone can take part, at any level. You sign up with a fixed partner, or on your own, in which case we pair you with someone who suits your game. That keeps the matches fair, and nobody is left empty handed after two games. If you are new to the island or have only just started playing, this is honestly one of the best ways to meet dozens of players in a single day.
Playing at Club de Campo in November is a deliberate choice. With 13 courts, indoor and outdoor, it is the largest club on the island and the only one where you can play under cover. If a shower rolls in at the end of November, and that happens here more often than visitors expect, the programme simply carries on inside. Lunch and dinner are included, and between matches there is plenty to win in the give-aways. After the last final the music stays on for a while, because that is how a Padel is Life day likes to end: with the whole group around the table together.

If you want to prepare, play the Early Birds in the weeks before, on weekdays from 08:00 to 10:00 at Club de Campo for 20 euros per person, or request a lesson with one of our coaches.
